LocknAlert – What You Need to Know Before Purchase

LocknAlert connects directly to your Paradox alarm through the built-in serial port. No IP modules, no USB adapters, no Olarm, and no cloud — it’s 100% local and integrates straight into Home Assistant.

Supported Panels

✅ Works with Magellan (MG), Spectra (SP), and EVO panels.
⚙️ Supports Paradox firmware versions below 7.50.000.
🔌 Uses the panel’s built-in serial port (TTL 5 V) with the included LocknAlert cable.

Unsupported Devices & Features

❌ No IP modules (IP150, IP150+, etc.).
❌ No USB 307 or third-party adapters.
❌ No Olarm or any cloud-based services.
❌ Firmware 7.50.000 or newer is not supported.

Panel Credentials

Your Panel ID and Password must be the same number.
Default codes are usually 1234 or 0000.
You can change them later for security.

Integration with Home Assistant

🏠 Works directly with Home Assistant using local MQTT.
⚡ No internet or cloud required — everything runs inside your home network.
🔧 One connection at a time — close BabyWare or other apps before use.
